The 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival has announced its roster of shows and special events, coming this fall to various off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway venues. The seventh annual festival begins September 27 and runs through October 17, with 27 musical productions, including new works by Anthony Rapp (Without You) and Chip Zien (The History of War), as well as a developmental reading series.
Newly added full productions include Fellowship!, My Mother's Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding, Special Letter, Therapy Rocks, V-Day and the new dance musical Petrouchka. The lineup also includes My Life: Today, presented by Rosie O'Donnell's "Rosie's Broadway Kids" arts program, as well as Water and Power, performed by the cast of 30 student from the Marquez Charter Elementary School in Los Angeles.
