World renowned record producer Rich Cantore began his
career in the music industry in 1958 when he took out a loan
of nearly $500,000 to form Cantore Music Inc. Relying on his
love of music and a sharp business sense he quickly set out to
find the best musicians in the country. His first discovery was
the legendary jazz musician Slappy Phelps whose debut single
"Skibbity Bop, I'm on Top"soared to the top of the Billboard
Charts, earning him the first of countless awards. For the next
four decades Cantore Music Inc. consistantly produced top
selling artists from America's favorite sibing duo, Donny and
Donna Schwartzbaum to the queen of R&B Mariah Dijon and

the art of show choir, forever changing the face of the music industry.
